Biography
Chris Rice is a partner and head of BraunHagey & Borden’s New York office, where he helps clients navigate high-stakes disputes and “bet-the-company” challenges. With deep expertise litigating issues involving intellectual property and trade secrets, antitrust and unfair competition, and corporate governance, Chris has a track record of securing successful, creative outcomes for both plaintiffs and defendants, and also represents both debtors and creditors in restructuring-related disputes.
Beyond his commercial practice, Chris devotes a significant amount of time to impact litigation on behalf of underserved communities and indigent clients. His notable achievements include the exoneration and release of two wrongfully convicted clients and securing an injunction to protect the constitutional rights of incarcerated people in the Massachusetts prison system.
