Biography

Iqra is a litigation attorney in BHB’s New York office. She represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes including antitrust, breach of contract, restructuring, and product labeling matters in state and federal courts.  

Iqra also maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in matters involving immigration, domestic violence, police overreach, and housing rights. 

During law school, Iqra became a Part 146 certified mediator, mediating EEOC complaints and disputes in small claims court. She also was a legal intern at Safe Horizon’s Domestic Violence Law Project.  

Personal

Iqra lives in Manhattan. In her free time, she enjoys long walks in Central Park, exploring the city, bantering with her book club, and entertaining her grumpy cat.
