Biography

Kevin Opoku-Gyamfi is an attorney in BraunHagey & Borden’s New York office. His practice is centered around protecting and advancing the rights of disadvantaged and underserved communities by bringing impact litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States. With a focus on civil rights, Kevin brings extensive experience in areas such as unconstitutional policing and discrimination, as well as handling complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract, trade secrets and false advertising claims.

Kevin clerked for the late Hon. Sterling Johnson, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Hon. Patti Saris of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He also served as a Herbert and Nell Singer Fellow at the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

Personal

Kevin lives in the Bronx, New York where he dedicates his time to exploring housing and real estate development in Ghana, West Africa. Passionate about sharing his culture, he expresses it through the vibrant beats of Afrobeats music through playlists he curates and occasionally as a DJ.
